I met Kurt 9 years ago here in Denver when I first moved here, long before he started Kurt’s Cuts Barbershop. He worked for Floyd’s Barbershop and I and always had wonderful service and haircuts from him. Often he was even booked up because so many people would request him personally. When I found out he started up his own barbershop in Denver I was definitely quick to support!
After Kurt greets you personally at the door you go to the shop which is small, cozy and very personable. It’s nice to finally go to a barbershop in Denver to get a really good haircut and not wait in line for 30-45 minutes. Kurt is a fantastic conversationalist and definitely makes you feel welcome. His prices are lower than all the other places I have been. Another perk is you don’t have to schedule an appointment days ahead of time. He simply requests you call ahead an hour or so.
I definitely enjoy the fact that after washing your hair you get a warm towel on your face to relax you and after your haircut a fantastic shoulder/back massage. Having gone to several stylists and barbershops in Denver and usually leaving disappointed because they just don’t seem to listen nor care I enjoy the fact that I never leave disappointed when I come to Kurt and would definitely recommend him to everyone!
